This page covers one thing: the join form on this website. It is short because the form is short.

What we collect
Only what you type into the join form:
- Your name
- Your company name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you choose to give one — the field is optional
- Your ZIP code
- Your main trade
- Whether you want us to write to you in English or Spanish
Why we collect it
To contact you about work. That is the only reason. We keep your details on a list of crews and small businesses so that when a contract opens near your ZIP code in your trade, we know to call you.
We do not sell your details, rent them, trade them, or send them to advertisers. We do not use them to build a profile of you anywhere else.
What else the form records
When you submit the form we store a keyed hash of your IP address — a one-way code, not the address itself. It lets us see that forty submissions came from one place without telling us, or anyone who reads the table, where that place is.
We also record the date and time you submitted, and that the submission came from this website.
Cookies and tracking
This site runs no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party scripts. Nothing on these pages loads from another company.
One cookie is set, and only if you use the English/Spanish switch: it remembers the language you chose so the crew app opens in it. Clearing it costs you nothing but that memory.
Who sees it
The owner of NICE HMU LLC and the staff who follow up on crew enquiries. Our hosting and email providers process the data on our instructions in order to run the service, and for no purpose of their own.
We disclose nothing else, to anyone, unless the law requires it of us.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until the list is no longer useful — whichever comes first. If we have not been able to place work with you and you have not been in touch for two years, we remove the record.
If you go on to work with us, your details move into your subcontractor account and that account's terms take over from this notice.
Your choices
Write to nicehmu@icloud.com and ask us to send you a copy of what we hold, correct it, or delete it. We will do it, and we will confirm when it is done. You do not need an account and you do not need to give a reason.
